One of a kind colour fade sets all hand-picked by Beata. These beautiful and totally unique sets consist of one of a kind Potluck™ colourways and are ideal for fade/ombré projects - sweater and blankets to name a couple. All sets are unique and won't be repeated.
At Hedgehog Fibres we encourage our dyers to be creative and not just follow recipes. Potluck™ skeins are one of a kind skeins created by our artisan dyers under the watchful eye of Beata, who trains all our dyers and oversees all colourway creations.
Each set consists of 5x 100g hand dyed yarn. Our Merino DK base is a 100% Merino, DK weight yarn,
superwash, approx. 200m/100g. Smooth, soft, non-scratchy yarn with a tighter twist and a round profile. Great all purpose workhorse yarn, next to the skin soft. 100% mulesing free.
Colours shift beautifully from one to another. Randomly dyed to prevent striping or pooling, as much as possible, our yarns create variegated effect that looks good in plain stockinette or advanced stitch motifs.
Machine washable. Approx. 200m/100g. 100% Merino wool, mulesing free. Please note, although we take great care in photographing our yarns, colours may vary slightly from monitor to monitor.
Hand-dyed in small batches in Cork, Ireland. Dyelots may vary though we represent every dyelot as accurately as possible in the product photos. Colours may vary from skein to skein, even within the same dyelot. If you buy more than one, we will do our best to match them up. Please ensure you buy enough to finish your project as future dyelots may vary. Please note, although we take great care in photographing our yarns, colours may vary slightly from monitor to monitor.
Additional Information
Gentle washing will keep your project beautiful for longer. For best results, hand-wash your finished project with a drop of detergent or wool wash. If combining light and dark colours, please swatch as the yarns may bleed. This is especially important if using deep reds. To minimise bleeding, hand-washing in cold water is the safest option.
