We all fell in love when Jana showed up at the Hedgehog Studio wearing her new hat she designed. Carol has kindly offered to knit another one in order to write up the pattern and voila! This cute little hat was born. The colour combo possibilities are endless, even subtle speckly yarns would look great! Looks amazing worn with ‘Pollination’ Scarf (pictured), which is also available as a free pattern.

Hedgehog Fibres Skinny Singles held double (approx. light DK weight) - 2 colours used.
Yardage:
Just over 366m in total used (both colours included.)
Gauge:
25sts x 32rows = 10cm/4 inch square, in lace pattern.
Needles & Notions:
40” 3.5mm circular needle, Magic Loop method is used for knitting in the round. You will also need a stitch marker and a tapestry needle. Charted instructions.
Skills necessary:
Basic chart reading, SSK, K2tog, weaving in ends.
