At Hedgehog Fibres we encourage our dyers to be creative and not just follow recipes. Potluck™ skeins are one of a kind skeins created by our artisan dyers under the watchful eye of Beata, who trains all our dyers and oversees all colourway creations.

100g hand dyed 2ply  50% Silk, 50% Merino lace weight yarn. Approx. 700m per 100g. Smooth, soft, non-scratchy yarn with a lovely sheen. Will work for any lace pattern. Has drape. One skein is enough for most lace patterns.

Colours shift beautifully from one to another. Randomly dyed to prevent striping or pooling, as much as possible, our yarns create variegated effect that looks good in plain stockinette or advanced stitch motifs.

Gentle hand wash recommended. Approx. 700m/100g. 50% Silk, 50% softest Merino wool, mulesing free.

Hand-dyed in small batches in Cork, Ireland. Dyelots may vary though we represent every dyelot as accurately as possible in the product photos. Colours may vary from skein to skein, even within the same dyelot. If you buy more than one, we will do our best to match them up. Please ensure you buy enough to finish your project as future dyelots may vary. Please note, although we take great care in photographing our yarns, colours may vary slightly from monitor to monitor.
